7 Day Beeswax Prayer Candle, 155 Hour Unscented Candle in Clear Glass

A steady light that lasts through days of prayer

This candle is for anyone who keeps a light burning while they pray: a church vigil, a home altar, a memorial, a Shabbat table, or the long hours of a power outage. It burns for about 155 hours, roughly six days eleven hours, so it stays lit through several days of services and prayer instead of being replaced every evening.

Each candle comes in its own clear glass cylinder with a single wick and no lid. That is the whole point of the shape: the glass holds the wax, the flame shows through the sides, and nothing else has to be bought to stand it in. Set the cylinder upright on a flat heat-resistant tray, trim the wick and light it.

What you get

• 7 Day candle, about 155 hours of burn time, roughly six days eleven hours
• 8.1 in tall and 2.5 in wide, in its own clear glass cylinder
• 100% pure beeswax, with no paraffin wax and no synthetic dyes
• Unscented, with no added fragrance, so it will not compete with incense or flowers nearby
• Cotton and paper wick, single wick, no lid
• Sold in 1 pack, 2 pack and 4 pack, choose your pack size above

How to burn it well

• Trim the wick to about 1/4 inch before each lighting
• Keep the candle out of moving air, because a draught makes the flame lean, tunnel and burn faster than it should
• Let the wax cool completely before you move the cylinder
• Store spare candles upright in a cool, dark place so the wicks stay straight
• If a wick drowns in a pool of wax, put the candle out, let the wax set, trim the wick and light it again
