8 Hour Pure Beeswax Tealights

The deepest cup in the range at 1 inch tall, still 1.5 inches across, so it drops into the same holders as a standard tealight and runs about 8 hours. It is the one to take on a long evening, a power cut, or a table that stays lit until late.

The wax is filtered, poured into a shallow aluminum cup and left to set slowly so the surface stays level and the wick stands straight. The cup holds the pool, which is why a tealight can burn right down to the last of the wax without a holder underneath.

Sold in 20 and 40 packs, in Natural or Cream White. Same footprint as the 4 and 6 hour tealights, so the three can be mixed in one setting without the holder changing.

Common questions

How long does each tealight burn? About 8 hours in still air with the wick trimmed. The extra height is all wax, so the burn scales with the cup.

Will it fit a standard tealight holder? The diameter is the standard 1.5 inches. The 1 inch height is deeper than a plain tealight, so check any holder with a lid or a tight sleeve.

Can it be used in a power cut? Yes. The aluminum cup keeps the pool contained, which makes it safer than a bare candle on a table, though it should still stand on something heat-resistant.

Why is the wax a different shade from pack to pack? Pure beeswax takes its colour from the nectar the bees worked, so tone shifts slightly between batches. Cream White is filtered further and stays even.
