4 Hour Pure Beeswax Tealights

A tealight 1.5 inches across and 0.7 inch tall in a crimped aluminum cup, sized for the holders and warmers already in the house. Each one burns about 4 hours, which is the size to reach for when you want light for a bath or a dinner rather than all evening.

The wax is filtered, poured into a shallow aluminum cup and left to set slowly so the surface stays level and the wick stands straight. The cup holds the pool, which is why a tealight can burn right down to the last of the wax without a holder underneath.

Sold in 20 and 40 packs, in Natural or Cream White. The cups stack flat, so a 40 pack stores in the space of a small box.

Common questions

How long does each tealight burn? About 4 hours in still air with the wick trimmed. Tealights are sensitive to draught, so a still corner gives you the full burn.

Do I need a holder? The aluminum cup holds the wax, so it can sit on any heat-resistant surface. A holder is still worth using on polished wood or cloth.

Can the cups be reused? The cup is meant for one candle. Once the wax is spent, let it cool and lift out the leftover wick before recycling the aluminum.

Why is the wax a different shade from pack to pack? Pure beeswax takes its colour from the nectar the bees worked, so tone shifts slightly between batches. Cream White is filtered further and stays even.
