3 Inch Wide Honeycomb Rolled Pillar Candles

The same rolled honeycomb wall as the short pillar, in three heights: 3 x 3, 3 x 4 and 3 x 6 inches. Width stays at 3 inches, so the three sizes line up as a set on one table and you can choose the height by how long the evening runs.

Each sheet is cut to size, warmed until it turns pliable, then rolled around a cotton wick and pressed at the seam. Nothing is added to the wax, so the only scent is the faint honey note of beeswax itself. A pale film on the surface, called bloom, is a normal sign of pure beeswax and wipes off with a fingertip.

All three heights come in a 4 pack, in Natural or Cream White. Choose the size and the colour above; the height changes the burn, not the width.

Common questions

How long does each height burn? About 14 hours for the 3 x 3, 18 hours for the 3 x 4 and 25 hours for the 3 x 6, in still air with the wick trimmed. Draught and room temperature change the total.

Can the three heights be burned together? Yes. Because the width is the same, the three sizes stand level with each other; the shorter ones simply finish first, which is often what you want across an evening.

Why does the wall look faceted instead of smooth? It is rolled from honeycomb sheet, so the hexagonal pattern stays on the surface all the way down.

What is the white film on the surface? Bloom, a normal sign of pure beeswax. It wipes off with a fingertip or a soft cloth.
