The narrow body lights quickly and burns about 40 minutes, which suits a service, a single song, or a short dinner.

Made from 100% pure beeswax with a cotton wick and no added fragrance. The slim body carries the honey note of the wax only, so a box of them does not scent the room the way a fragrance candle would.

Sold in 50, 100, 200 and 300 packs, in Natural or Cream White. The candles are packed loose, so count the box before a service rather than on the day.

What you get

6.3 inches long and about 0.2 inch across

Burns about 40 minutes each

100% pure beeswax, no paraffin, no synthetic dye, no added fragrance

Cotton wick, lead-free

Unscented, smokeless and dripless, 50 to 300 pack

Where they fit

Orthodox and Eastern church services, votive stands and processions

Baptism, memorial and prayer gatherings

Birthday cakes, in bulk for parties and classrooms

Restaurant tables and tasting menus

Craft, wax carving and candle-making projects

How to use them

Stand the taper in a holder sized for a thin candle, or press the base into a cake

Trim the wick to about 1/4 inch before lighting

Keep the flame clear of drapery, paper and hair, which thin tapers reach easily

Never leave a burning candle unattended, and keep them from children and pets

Store flat and cool so the slim body does not bow

Common questions

How long does each candle burn? About 40 minutes, in still air with the wick trimmed. A draught shortens it noticeably because the body is thin.

Can they be used as birthday candles? Yes. The size and the 40 minute burn suit a cake, and the slim body lights fast when you are lighting a whole box in a row.

Do they stand up on their own? No. A taper this thin needs a holder or a soft base to sit in. On a cake the wax presses into the icing; in a church stand the socket holds it.

Is there a scent? Only the faint honey note of pure beeswax. No fragrance oil is added, so they stay neutral next to food.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0944/0473/9145/files/1_0c9be17e-c1c2-41c8-887d-117f2f679b7f.jpg?v=1792568038
